Probably the most special drive from Santa Cruz — within minutes you leave the city behind and enter one of Tenerife's most beautiful natural areas. Recommended stops: Playa de Las Teresitas, the Mirador Las Teresitas, Anaga viewpoints, Taganana village and the Benijo coastline. Perfect for nature lovers, photography and discovering old Tenerife. Local tip: start in the morning — Anaga can become cloudy later in the day, but that misty forest atmosphere is also part of its magic.

It's not the easiest beach, and that's exactly why it remains special. The journey there is part of the experience — mountain roads, viewpoints and small villages that show the older side of the island. This is the Tenerife many visitors never see.
